  • 8:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.: Reserved Category, EWS, Horizontal Category, and AIQ Candidates

• Ranks Eligible: Candidates with ranks 001 to 4825

Eligibility Criteria for Participation

To be eligible for this mop-up round, candidates must meet one of the following conditions:

1. No Prior Seat Allotment: Candidates who were not allotted seats in either the 1st or 2nd rounds of counseling.
2. Candidates With CNA/SNA Status: Those marked as CNA (Candidate Not Available) or SNA (Seat Not Available) during previous counseling rounds are eligible to participate.
3. Upgradation Opportunities: Candidates who joined their allotted college after the 2nd round but seek an upgrade can participate, provided they bring a fee deposit receipt from their current institution.
4. First-Time Participants: Candidates who did not join their allotted seats in the first round but wish to participate now.
5. Non-Eligibility: Candidates allotted seats in the 2nd round who failed to join are not eligible for this round.

Required Documents and Counseling Fee

1. Counseling Fee: Candidates attending for the first time must pay a counseling fee of ₹1000 through POS (available at the BOPEE offices in Jammu and Srinagar) using a debit or credit card.
2. Mandatory Documents: All participants must bring their original certificates and documents for verification on the day of counseling.

Reservation and Seat Conversion

The counseling session will prioritize candidates from Reserved and Horizontal categories. If seats in these categories remain unfilled due to a lack of eligible candidates, they will be converted to Open Merit as per Section 9(2) of the J&K Reservation Act, 2004.
