Important Update: Schedule for Second Round of Counselling for B.Sc. Nursing, Paramedical, and Technology Courses 2024

The much-awaited schedule for the second round of counselling for admission to B.Sc. Nursing, B.Sc. Paramedical, and B.Sc. Technology courses in government colleges and institutions of the UT of Jammu & Kashmir has been released by JKBOPEE on September 16, 2024. The notification is available on the official JKBOPEE website.

Key Details for the Second Round of Counselling:

  • Counselling Focus: This round will primarily fill seats reserved for candidates from horizontal reservations, including CDP, JKPM, Sports Category, and PwD.
  • Mode of Counselling: The counselling will be conducted in physical mode, meaning candidates must visit the JKBOPEE office on the day of counselling.

Important Information:

  • Eligibility:

    • All candidates from CDP, PwD, and Sports Category are invited.
    • JKPM (OM Category) candidates up to rank 2000 are also called.
    • All candidates must produce valid category certificates.

  • Seat Matrix: The seat matrix will be uploaded on the JKBOPEE website on September 18, 2024, a day before the counselling.

Detailed Rules:

  1. Reporting Time: Eligible candidates must report to the BOPEE offices in Jammu or Srinagar for registration and other formalities from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on the day of counselling.

    • Jammu Office: 4th Floor, South Block, Bahu Plaza, Jammu-180012
    • Srinagar Office: Baghat-i-Barzulla, Opposite J&K Bank, Srinagar-190005

  2. Checking Seat Matrix: Candidates should check the seat matrix available on the JKBOPEE website before attending counselling. Participation should be based on the availability of seats in their respective categories.

  3. On-Site Participation: Candidates should remain at the Board office during the counselling process. If a seat of their choice becomes available during the process, they can claim it immediately based on merit and preference.

  4. Eligibility for Horizontal Categories: Candidates who have been allotted seats during the first round and have joined their respective colleges are also eligible for this round. Those who did not deposit the counselling fee of Rs. 1000/- in the first round will not be allowed to participate.

  5. Counselling Fee: Horizontal category candidates participating for the first time after rank 9347 must deposit a counselling fee of Rs. 1000/- through POS machines at the BOPEE offices. Failure to deposit the fee will result in disqualification from the counselling process.

  6. Additional Notifications: The Board reserves the right to make changes if necessary due to technical difficulties or other reasons. Additional notifications regarding the filling of remaining seats will be issued separately.
