JKBOPEE Announces 3rd Round of Counselling for B.Sc. Nursing/Paramedical/Tech Courses 2024

On September 24, 2024, JKBOPEE announced that it will conduct a 3rd round of counselling for admission to B.Sc. Nursing, B.Sc. Paramedical, and B.Sc. Technology courses for the year 2024. This round is open to all candidates, including those from reserved categories, for admissions to various Government and Private Colleges in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.

Overview:

The India Nursing Council (INC) has extended the last date for admissions to Nursing Programs for the academic year 2024-25 to October 31, 2024, as per Notification No. 11 of 2024 dated September 20, 2024. In line with this, JKBOPEE will conduct a 3rd round of counselling for the aforementioned courses, providing another opportunity for candidates to secure their seats in various institutions across J&K.

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates who have secured at least 25 marks in the Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by JKBOPEE for these courses are eligible to attend the counselling.

Documents Required:

All candidates attending the counselling must bring the following original documents. Without these, candidates will not be allowed to participate:

  1. Domicile Certificate
  2. 12th Class Marksheet
  3. Date of Birth Certificate (10th Marksheet)
  4. Category Certificate (if applicable)
  5. Diploma (for Lateral Entry Candidates only)

Key Points to Remember:

  1. Physical Counselling: The counselling will be conducted in physical mode, so candidates must attend in person at the JKBOPEE offices.
  2. Registration and Attendance: Eligible candidates must report to the BOPEE offices in Jammu/Srinagar between 8:30 AM and 10:00 AM on the counselling day to complete registration and other formalities.
  3. Seat Matrix: Candidates should check the Seat Matrix available on the official JKBOPEE website before attending the counselling.
  4. Upgradation: Candidates who were allotted seats in the first or second round of counselling and have already joined their respective institutions are eligible for upgradation. They must bring the fee deposition receipt from their allotted college to the counselling.
  5. Provisional Selection List: After the counselling concludes, JKBOPEE will publish a Provisional Selection List, detailing the application number, name, gender, category, institution, and discipline of selected candidates.
  6. Counselling Fee: Candidates participating in the counselling for the first time must pay a fee of ₹1000 via POS machines available at JKBOPEE offices in Jammu/Srinagar on their counselling day.

Seat Matrix:

The Seat Matrix for the 3rd round of counselling will be uploaded on the JKBOPEE website before the counselling process begins. Once all seats are filled, the counselling will automatically stop, and no further claims will be entertained from waiting candidates.

It is important to note that seat allotment and upgradation in the 3rd round will be on a provisional basis. This does not confer any preferential rights on the provisionally selected candidates and is subject to the outcome of any legal proceedings related to the admissions process.
