SKUAST-Kashmir Announces 3rd Round of Counselling for 2024 UG Admissions
The Sher-E-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences & Technology of Kashmir (SKUAST-Kashmir) is a premier institution known for its excellence in agricultural and allied sciences education. Located in the scenic valley of Kashmir, SKUAST-K offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs, preparing students for careers in agriculture, veterinary sciences, horticulture, and biotechnology, among other fields.
For the year 2024, SKUAST-K is conducting admissions for several undergraduate (UG) courses through the SKUAST-K CET UG (Common Entrance Test), an annual entrance exam for aspiring students. The UG courses for which this counselling round is being held include:
- B.V.Sc & AH (Bachelor of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry)
- BSc (Hons) Agriculture
- BSc (Hons) Horticulture
- BSc (Hons) Forestry
- BSc (Hons) Sericulture
- B.F.Sc (Bachelor of Fisheries Science)
- B.Tech Food Technology
- B.Tech Biotechnology
- BSc Biochemistry
- BSc Microbiology
This 3rd round of counselling is crucial for candidates looking to secure or upgrade their seats in these programs.

Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must have already undergone document verification.
- Candidates must have secured a minimum of 45 marks in the SKUAST-K CET UG.
Mode of Counselling
The 3rd round of counselling will be conducted in Physical/Offline mode. Candidates must be present in person to complete the document verification, upgradation, and seat allotment process.

Important Guidelines for Candidates

Attendance Requirement: Candidates are required to attend the counselling session at their own expense on the specified date, time, and venue. Failure to attend, even with superior merit or claim, will result in the cancellation of their candidature.

Fee Payment: Candidates must pay the full prescribed semester or annual fee (excluding hostel fees) on the spot during seat allotment. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of the seat, and it will be offered to the next candidate in the order of merit.

Document Verification: If a candidate is unable to attend the scheduled document verification, they can still get their documents verified on the day of counselling. All candidates must report to SKUAST-K, Shalimar, by 9:00 AM on the counselling day.

No Pending Certificates: No "under process" certificates for any required documents will be accepted under any circumstances.
